The variant comparison table shows the variants of one product side by side — capacities, sizes, finishes — with their price and per-variant specifications.

Variant comparison table
A product page with a variant comparison table comparing three variants of the same product (e.g. 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB), each column showing the variant image, price and specifications.
Set it up
Choose the variants to compare
In the app, open Products, click the product and select up to 20 variants in the Comparable variants card. Learn more.
Add the block to your product template
Open the theme editor on your product template, click Add section › Apps › Variant comparison table, and click Save.
The table uses the attributes of the product’s specification table. Per-variant values (per-variant attributes, variant metafields, SKU, barcode, weight, price) make the difference between columns, while product-level values are identical in every column.
The table isn’t displayed if the product has a single variant or if no variants are selected in the app. The theme editor shows a message in both cases.

Adds a switch to highlight differences or hide similarities between variants. Learn more.

Variants displayed at once (2 to 20). Hidden variants can be selected from a dropdown.
Replaces the table with a button (“Compare variants” by default) that opens it in a modal.
Choose the information displayed at the top of each column. Image and price are shown by default.
