Plans & installation
Install the app in a couple of clicks, try every feature free for 14 days, and pick the plan that fits your store.
Install the app
- Open the Specs & Compare listing on the Shopify App Store.
- Click Install.
- Shopify shows the permissions the app needs. Review them and approve the installation.
- Choose a plan and approve the subscription. Your 14-day free trial starts immediately.
Permissions
The app only asks for the permissions it needs. It cannot access your customers or orders, and it cannot edit your theme code.

Staff accounts
Staff members need the Products permission in Shopify to select collections, products or variants inside the app. If they don’t have it, the app shows a “Missing permissions” message.

Change your plan
Open the app and click Plans in the app navigation. You can switch between Starter and Pro, and between monthly and yearly billing, at any time. Charges are handled by Shopify and appear on your Shopify invoice.
Downgrading from Pro
If you switch from Pro to Starter, Pro features (dynamic comparison, variant comparison tables and AI buying advice) stop working on your store, and their blocks are no longer available in the theme editor.
Free trial
Every plan includes a 14-day free trial. If the app isn’t right for you and you uninstall it within 14 days, you won’t be charged.
Development stores
Development stores choose a plan like any other store: the app asks for one when it is first opened. Shopify doesn’t bill development stores for app subscriptions, so agencies and developers can set up and test the app for free.
When the store is transferred to a merchant or switched to a paid Shopify plan, the subscription becomes a regular, billed subscription.
Uninstall the app
Uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin stops billing and removes the app blocks from your theme.
Values you entered in the app are stored as regular product metafields and stay in your store. Specification tables themselves are app data that Shopify can remove when the app is uninstalled: if you might reinstall later, export your tables first.
